Cab Ride No.17 Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth

This DVD, Cab Ride No.17, consists of two runs (from Shrewsbury to Dovey Junction and Dovey Junction to Aberystwyth) recorded on Class 150 Sprinter units 150129 and 150150 on 11th May 1988 on the Cambrian Main Line.

The filming took place shortly before the telephone signalling was installed on this section, so this dvd is an important and historical record of this wonderful route with original signalling in place.

We would like to thank BR (LMR) Public Affairs for arranging this cab ride, also Inspector Graham Whitefoot and the crews concerned for their help and the informative commentary en route.
