This is the story of one of Britain’s most impressive main line entertainers – Gresley ‘V2’ No. 60800 Green Arrow.
This 3-cylinder design first appeared in 1936 for mixed traffic work on the LNER. Sadly now out of use, we view it during its main line career during the 1980s and 1990s in both LNER livery and BR green.
