Diesel Gala: Preserved diesel in action, on the Mid-Hants, Severn Valley and North Yorkshire Moors featuring ‘Deltics’, 50s, 45s and D200 on a freight.

Table 145 – Light Dawns: The nightmare is nearly over – or is it? Class 159s are taking over the Salisbury-Exeter line at last, but 47/7s are still at work, sometimes replaced by 33s, but DEMUs will soon ‘thump’ no more.

BR Newslines: Including the green E6003, the VSOE in Leeds, 33s at Weymouth, Provincial 37, 20s in France and the UK, etc.

Cab Ride – Chester to Shrewsbury: A Sprinter run over this border line railway between England and Wales.

Main Line Steam: A great variety, as ever, from triple Stanier Pacifics, 80080 to ‘Skeggy’, ‘5069’, 44767 on test, 60532 to Scarborough, 70000 at Yeovil, amongst others!

Hunslet Hundred: All the little Hunslets, plus a new Fairlie, ‘Palmerston’ and ‘Sgt Murphy’ celebrated ‘Linda’ and ‘Blanche’s’ centenary year.

Isle of Man – The Year of Railways: Events celebrating the Manx Electric Railway’s centenary, with double headers, steam on the MER, parallel running and so on.
