Geoff Silcock’s recording of memorable events staged under the ‘Sentimental Journeys’ banner. Recreating a journey through the years of steam this dvd has a wide selections and variety of locations and engine movements. We start off the magical tour of steam with an introduction from Geoff Silcock who provides some background to his now well-established ‘journeys’. This excellent footage includes the following, the two un-rebuilt Bulleid Pacifics Swanage and 257 Squadron at the Swanage Railway. The Somerset & Dorset Railway tribute at the West Somerset Railway where the S&D 7F, West Country Class 34105 Swanage, 73096, 44422 and others recreated the S&D perfectly. The B12 in black livery on the North Norfolk Railway. Jubilees Mars, Amethyst and Silver Jubilee at the East Lancs Railway and GCR. A 14XX recreating the Titfield Thunderbolt at the Dean Forest Railway. Double headed 9fs Nos. 92212 and 92203 at the Great Central Railway. The P and Terrier at the Kent & East Sussex Railway and many more scenes from these superbly organised days.
All filmed at length to the best quality and all in one sentimental volume.
