Cab Ride no 15 – York to Edinburgh – ECML (2xdvds)

This dvd, Cab Ride No.15, was recorded on 30th October 1987 on an HST forming the 08.00 “Tallisman” service from King’s Cross to Edinburgh.

We join the train at York for the northern part of the run over the East Coast Main Line. This is complimentary to our earlier run from King’s Cross to York (Cab Ride No.07).

We were accompanied by Inspector Cedric Lockwood and our drivers were from York to Newcastle Hugh Noble and Jim Allen and from Newcastle to Edinburgh George Halbert and Robert Quinn. We would like to thank Keith Metcalf and BR Eastern Region Public Affairs for arranging this journey for us.
