Celebrating 150 Years of the
Settle to Carlisle Railway
As our passenger railway system in Britain and soon afterwards, the rest of the world, celebrates 200 years since the first public train ran on the Stockton to Darlington line, another major anniversary is being marked; that of the famous Settle-Carlisle Railway which is now 150 years old. Here at Kingfisher we pride ourselves in publishing numerous books and DVD programmes about the line. Our very first was in 1989 titled ‘The Line That Refused to Die’.
To mark the great event, we are proving a special ‘bundle’ of DVDs, a one-off book and our new Guide Book to the line.
An ideal Christmas present for the follower of the Settle-Carlisle
