Liverpool Street to Norwich
We are in the cab of Anglia Railways Class 9709 with a Class 86 at the rear providing the power. At times the Class 86 would not respond well to the driver’s controls and jolt the train and our camera equipment in the cab!
We depart from London’s Liverpool Street Station at 08.31 and look forward to arrival at Norwich at 10.38. Look out for a number of other classes en route such as 47s, EMUs and 66s and some Docklands Light Railway services. On our journey out of London we pass over no less than 24 junctions and crossovers and pass through 20 stations before our first stop at Ingatestone. Our second stop is at Colchester followed by Manningtree and Ipswich. Our journey progresses into Norfolk and to Diss our next stop before arriving at Norwich.
