This compilation of old archive films from the 1920s through to the 1970s, include historical occasions such as the visit by HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother in 1959, the granting of city status by Prince Charles in 1969 and HM The Queen in 1965.
Other archive films include the opening of Swansea Airport in 1957 by Group Captain Douglas Bader, the last day of services on the Mumbles Railway, last service son the railway to Pontardulais. See the women cockers of Penclawdd and hear Richard Burton recounting Dylan Thomas, plus much more. Altogether a feast of archive film of Swansea and the surrounding areas.
